2010 Italian Tour

June 1 - 14: Toscana & Umbria

As Professors of Italian and Art History, we invite you to spend two weeks with us on an extraordinary excursion through the Regions of Tuscany and Umbria, Italy.

WE TEACH AS WE TRAVEL, CONDUCTING EDUCATIONAL SCENIC CUSTOM TOURS THAT PUT YOU IN TOUCH WITH THE PEOPLE AND THE ENVIRONMENT THAT WE VISIT.

Experience the friendliness of the Italian people, the fruits and vegetables of the season, the pallet of colors of the country side, the local wines, the arts and architecture. You won't be packing and unpacking every day as we will be home-based, spending some time on the Mediterranean side and then in the countryside. You will feel the experience of actually living there!

Upon arrival on Tuesday, June 1st, we will pick you up at the Leonardo Da Vinci Airport in Pisa, Italy and will welcome you with a Reception and Dinner that evening.

Daily excursions will be provided to medieval castle towns, local farm inns and wineries. We will provide guided tours to castles, churches, a professional cooking lesson with dinner and optional gourmet meals and wine tasting events.

What sets us apart from other tours is the caring attention and personal service we provide each of our guests. As Tuscan natives, we are bilingual and really do know our way around! We enjoy the respect and friendships we have built with the locals and can offer our guests a genuinely authentic and enjoyable experience. We only take 16 guests at a time to keep our custom tour a small group and your Tour Director will always be available to you during the tour.

On the last day of the tour, Monday, June 14th, we will take you back to the Pisa Airport to see you off!
